After a long summer of unspoken feelings, we finally admitted the truth our hearts already knew. What had been friendship blossomed into love. It was the most natural step in our journey.

Two years later, God blessed us with our son, Washe, whose name means 'you belong to God.' His arrival completed our circle of love. With a daughter and a son, our family felt whole.
DECEMBER 2023
We celebrated our lobola ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Love and tradition came together as the cows 'finally came home.' It was a sacred day of unity, joy, and heritage.

Venue
We chose Braga because of its timeless beauty — every stone tells a story, and the gardens and hills carry a romance all their own. With more than 2,000 years of history, Braga is full of hidden gems. From the monumental steps of Bom Jesus to the peaceful cathedral squares, this city offers the perfect setting for a love that feels both classic and new.
If you have a little free time, we’d love for you to explore. Stroll the cobbled streets, climb the Bom Jesus stairs, or simply enjoy a quiet moment in one of Braga’s garden cafés.

Once you land, it’s easy to get to your chosen hotel by Uber, taxi, or bus. Porto is a wonderful city to explore if you’d like to combine the wedding with a city break.
If you’re staying in Braga:
You’ll need to travel from Porto to Braga (approx. 55 km). Here are the main options:

Bus: Direct buses from Porto take about 45 minutes, costing €3–€5.

Train: From Porto Campanhã station, the journey takes 50–60 minutes, costing €8–€17.

Uber or Taxi: Around 38–60 minutes, typically €35–€60 depending on traffic.

We’ll also provide details about an optional wedding shuttle from Braga to the venue. If you’d like to use it, please indicate this when you RSVP (and let us know how many people will be in your party).
